Currently, all public hearings are scheduled as part of the regular City Council meetings, held at 7pm at the Ted Adcock Community Center, 535 Kelly Avenue. Tuesday, May 15 (Regular Council meeting)

Presentation on the overall project, the line-drawing tools available to the public, the project schedule, and initial public hearing on the how the districts should be drafted.

Tuesday, June 5 (Regular Council meeting)

Hearing postponed.

Tuesday, June 19 (Regular Council meeting)

Public hearing on the how the districts should be drafted.

Friday, July 6, 4:30 PM

Deadline for initial map submissions from the public.

Draft maps posted to project website

Council  hearing to solicit “input regarding the content of the draft maps and the proposed sequence of elections.”

Tuesday, August 21  (Regular Council meeting)

Council  hearing to solicit “input regarding the content of the draft maps and the proposed sequence of elections.”

Tuesday, September 4 (Regular Council meeting)

Council holds public hearing, selects a map and introduces the Ordinance making the change to by-district elections.

Tuesday, September 18 (Regular Council meeting)

Council has 2nd reading and final adoption of Ordinance.
